Dr. Jourdan Davis Wins First Place and Best Dissertation

Dr. Jourdan Davis of the Gerald G. Fox MPA Program of Charlotte and her co-author, Dr. Ken Meier of American University, won First Place Best Paper Award at the Conference of Minority Public Administrators (COMPA) for their paper, “Effectiveness, Efficiency and Equity Tradeoffs in Public Programs: A Citizen Experiment”. Dr. Davis also won Best Dissertation Award from Section for Women in Public Administration (SWPA) for her dissertation titled “Fairness, Performance and the Public Sector: The Role of Fairness in Anti-Public Sector Bias.”
